Marchment joins Orlando in Brampton

Forward reassigned to Solar Bears from Marlies

BRAMPTON, Ontario – The Orlando Solar Bears have announced that rookie forward Mason Marchment has been reassigned to the club by the Toronto Marlies, Orlando’s American Hockey League affiliate.

Marchment, 21, returns to the Solar Bears, where he has 11 points (8g-3a) and 14 penalty minutes in 26 games this season. The Uxbridge, Ontario native has added one goal and six penalty minutes in nine games with the Marlies.

Orlando has also released forward Patrick Watling. Watling, 23, had recorded 36 points (13g-23a) and 42 penalty minutes in 53 games with Orlando this season.

The Orlando Solar Bears continue their fifth season of ECHL hockey when they begin a three-game set against the Brampton Beast at the Powerade Centre tonight at 7:15 p.m.
