Orlando receives future considerations from Wheeling
ORLANDO, Fla. – The Orlando Solar Bears have announced that the club has traded forward Alexandre Carrier to the Wheeling Nailers in exchange for future considerations.
Carrier, 26, had recorded four points (1g-3a) and 16 penalty minutes in 10 games with the Solar Bears this season.
The Orlando Solar Bears continue their fifth season of ECHL hockey when they close out their regular season series with the Norfolk Admirals at the ARS.com Rink at Amway Center on Sunday, Feb. 19 at 1:30 p.m. Sunday’s game is the final game of Orlando’s Faith & Family Weekend presented by Auto Justice Attorney Michael T. Gibson featuring The Master’s Academy. The Solar Bears will continue to host a food drive during the game to support The Forgotten Ones – a ministry dedicated to kids aging out of foster care.
Sunday’s game is also a FAIRWINDS Solar Bears Sunday – the first 100 FAIRWINDS members to show their FAIRWINDS debit or credit card, as well as their ID, at the Amway Center box office window on Sunday will score two free tickets for that day’s game.
