Second-year Solar Bears defenseman can make AHL debut Monday
ORLANDO, Fla. – The Orlando Solar Bears have announced that defenseman Brenden Miller has been recalled to the club’s AHL affiliate, the Toronto Marlies.
Miller, 22, leads Orlando’s defensive corps with 22 points (8g-14a) and 64 penalty minutes in 40 games. Under contract with the Marlies, Miller could possibly make his AHL debut this afternoon at 3 p.m. when Toronto hosts the Binghamton Senators at the Air Canada Centre.
The Orlando Solar Bears continue their fifth season of ECHL hockey when they host the Atlanta Gladiators at the ARS.com Rink at Amway Center on Wednesday, Feb. 22 at 7 p.m.
