The Solar Bears remain undefeated against the Admirals at home since Norfolk began play last season; Orlando is 4-0-0-0 at home against their opponent and has outscored Norfolk by a 23-12 margin over those four contests.

BEREHOWSKY ONE WIN AWAY FROM 50 WINS WITH ORLANDO:Solar Bears head coach Drake Berehowsky is one victory away from 50 in his career with the Solar Bears. After guiding Orlando during it’s Out of Hibernation season in 2012-13, Berehowsky returned behind the bench in mid-November; since then, the team has gone 21-13-7 (.598) under his leadership.

LANG’S RECORD IN SIGHT FOR PERRY:With five goals over his last nine games, Joe Perry is now within striking distance of tying the ECHL Solar Bears single-season record of 27 goals set by Mickey Lang in 2013-14. The third-year pro matched his own personal-best of 26 goals last night after previously reaching the mark in his rookie season of 2014-15 with the Quad City Mallards.

SHOOT ‘EM UP:The Solar Bears put up 41 shots on goal on Friday night, giving them their third straight game with at least 40 shots on goal; this is the second time this season that Orlando has managed this particular feat, as the club managed this pattern in Drake Berehowsky’s first three games back behind the bench for the Solar Bears in mid-November. Orlando has maintained its place atop the ECHL leaderboard with an average of 37.08 shots for per game, nearly two shots more on average than second-place Florida (35.18).
