MANDERSON ON CUSP OF CENTURY MARK FOR GAMES:Denver Manderson’s next game for the Solar Bears will be the 100th of his career with Orlando. The alternate captain will join seven other Solar Bears to reach the century mark in games played. His assist on Friday also gave him 91 career points for Orlando, tying him with Eric Baier for second place on the franchise list behind only Jacob Cepis (112 points).
MAKE IT TWO:The Solar Bears power play continues to be a source of strength against the Gladiators after Friday’s performance – three times this season Orlando has scored twice on the man advantage against Atlanta, and the team’s power play is operating at a 7-for-21 (33.3%) success rate when up a man.
FAILLE TAKES THE LEAD AGAINST GLADSEric Faille now holds the team scoring lead against Atlanta this season, with six points (1g-5a) in four games.
