Following a scoreless first period in which Ryan Massa made a brilliant toe save on a wraparound attempt by David Pacan late in the frame, the Beast opened up a 1-0 lead at 4:31 of the middle stanza when Brandon Marino knocked in a Pacan feed past Massa.
Chris Crane tied it up for the Solar Bears when Taylor Doherty unloaded a shot from the right point which Mason Marchment deflected with his stick off the leg of Crane at 7:34.

David Vallorani netted the equalizer less than a minute later after he made his way into the attacking zone and roofed a puck over the glove of Massa from the high slot at 17:25.
Cameranesi scored the eventual game-winner when Eric Baier teed up a shot from the right point that was picked up behind the net by Eric Faille, who fed a pass into the slot for the rookie to hammer into the cage at 9:50 of the third.
