Jon Jutzi scores first pro goal for game-winner, Kaskisuo earns first pro shutout
ORLANDO, Fla. – Jon Jutzi scored his first professional goal in the second period and Kasimir Kaskisuo made 24 saves for his first professional shutout as the Orlando Solar Bears (5-4-1-0) blanked the South Carolina Stingrays (4-5-1-0) by a 3-0 score on Saturday night at the ARS.com Rink at Amway Center.

After a scoreless first period in which Kaskisuo made several impressive stops including a breakaway by South Carolina’s Patrick Gaul, Orlando broke through in the middle frame when Jutzi fired a wrist shot through a screen that beat Adam Carlson at 13:20.
Orlando extended its lead with a power-play goal at 13:11 of the third period when Joe Perry knocked home a rebound from Brett Findlay’s one-timer.
The Stingrays pulled Carlson for an extra skater late in the game, but Tony Cameranesi sealed the victory for the Solar Bears with an empty-net tally at 19:54.
Kaskisuo’s shutout was the first by a Solar Bears netminder since Rob Madore made 31 stops in Orlando’s 3-0 win at Brampton on March 13, 2016; Carlson took the loss with 28 stops on 30 shots against.
