WHO: Orlando Solar Bears (7-5-2-0) vs. Brampton Beast (7-3-1-2)VENUE: ARS.com Rink at Amway Center, Orlando, Fla.DATE: Thursday, Nov. 24, 11 a.m.WATCH: ECHL.TVLISTEN: Visit our website or download the new Solar Bears mobile app to listen to the game via MixlrTICKETS: Click hereTODAY:The Orlando Solar Bears host the Brampton Beast for the first time in their history. The Solar Bears traveled to the Greater Toronto Area last March for a three game set against Brampton, in which Orlando swept the series, outscoring the Beast by a 12-5 margin. The affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens made significant roster upgrades over the offseason, notably bringing in former South Carolina playmaker David Pacan. More than half of Brampton’s victories have come against the struggling Elmira Jackals, while all other wins for the club came beyond regulation.

OVERTIME SUITS SOLAR BEARS AND BEAST JUST FINE:Both Orlando and Brampton tied for the second-most games requiring overtime last season with 18, and the Beast are already the league leader this season with six overtime games heading into Wednesday night’s slate of matches.

ORLANDO’S TERRIFIC TRIO:Dating back to last Thursday, the line of Brett Findlay, Denver Manderson and Joe Perry have combined for 10 goals – accounting for nearly 59% of Orlando’s offense in the last three games. The ARS.com Rink at Amway has been especially friendly to Perry, as the forward has scored all nine of his goals on home ice – tops in the entire ECHL, while Denver Manderson’s 13 points in Orlando is tied for first with three other skaters.

BLOCK MAKES IMPRESSIVE RETURN:After beginning the season on the injured reserve, forward Austin Block was a welcome addition to the lineup as he potted two goals in his first game back. The speedy center’s performance was the first multi-goal game of his ECHL tenure. Since joining the Solar Bears in a mid-season trade last season, the team has a 5-2-1-0 record when he has recorded a point.
