Eight players returning to Orlando; Toronto reassigns defenseman Jon Jutzi
ORLANDO, Fla. – The Orlando Solar Bears have received eight players from the team’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Toronto Marlies.
The Marlies have released forwards Connor Gaarder, Denver Manderson, Johnny McInnis and Patrick Watling, defensemen Eric Baier and Chris Bradley, and goaltenders Ryan Massa and Jay Williams from their tryout agreements. All players had previously agreed to terms on ECHL contracts with the Solar Bears.

The Solar Bears 2016-17 regular season opens against the Florida Everblades on Saturday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. at the ARS.com Rink at Amway Center.
