*Please adhere to the Amway Center guidelines and policies for prohibited items when preparing to attend the game in costume.

TONIGHT:The Orlando Solar Bears take on the Atlanta Gladiators for the second of two consecutive home matches against each other in as many nights.

SHOOT TO THRILL:The Solar Bears lead the Eastern Conference (3rd in league) with 36.33 shots for per game. That average was bumped up thanks to Friday night’s 52-shot performance, in which Ethan Werek led the way for Orlando with 10 shots on goal, one shy of tying Eric Baier’s franchise record of 11, set on Nov. 8, 2015 vs. Florida. The 52 shots on goal in a single game represent the highest total so far by one team this season.

SPECIAL TEAMS GLANCE:After being limited to only one opportunity on the man advantage in the first game, Orlando has earned nine power play chances in the past two games, and has converted on 33.3 percent. The team’s total power play percentage of 30 percent is second in the entire league. The penalty kill, meanwhile has been identified by the coaching staff as an area that can be improved upon, as the Solar Bears have surrendered a power play goal half the time the team has been forced to play shorthanded.

OUT OF THE GATE:The Solar Bears have shown through the first three games that the team builds on its offensive output as it gets deeper into the game. Orlando has managed one goal in the first period, but has scored three goals in both the second and third period so far this season.
