April 7, 2016 SOLAR BEARS SIGN BRAYDEN JAW TO ATOForward Recently Completed NCAA Career at Harvard UniversityPhoto Credit: Getty Images ORLANDO, Fla. – The Orlando Solar Bears, proud affiliate of the NHL’s Toronto Maple Leafs and AHL’s Toronto Marlies, have announced the signing of rookie forward Brayden Jaw to an Amateur Try-Out Agreement. Jaw, 23, joins the Solar Bears after wrapping up a four-year collegiate career with Harvard University, where the 6-foot-3, 210-pound forward played in 30 games this season, tallying eight points (2g-6a) and 12 penalty minutes. In 103 career games for the Crimson, the Vancouver, British Columbia, native logged 13 points (4g-9a) and 48 penalty minutes, and helped the program capture the 2014-15 ECAC Championship. Orlando has also released rookie defenseman Jordan Rowley from his ATO. Rowley suited up in three games with the Solar Bears, recording no points. The Solar Bears continue their fourth season in the ECHL, presented by Auto Justice Attorney Michael T. Gibson, P.A., when they host the Florida Everblades on Fan Appreciation Night on Thursday, Apr. 7 at 7:00 p.m. at the Amway Center.
