ORLANDO, Fla. - The Orlando Solar Bears, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Tampa Bay Lightning, announced today the hockey club has re-signed defenseman Kade Landry for the 2026-27 season.
Landry, 27, rejoins the Solar Bears following his acquisition from the Idaho Steelheads for Jack Adams on March 8. He appeared in eight games with the Solar Bears before an injury shortened his 2025-26 campaign. The Wallace, Ont. native tallied five points (1g-4a), six penalty minutes, and a minus-7 rating. In 99 USPORTS games including playoffs, Landry tallied 82 points (14g-68a), 62 penalty minutes, with an impressive plus-88 rating.
Landry appeared in five Ontario Hockey League (OHL) seasons with Barrie and Hamilton, winning the J. Ross Robertson Cup as OHL Champions during the 2017-18 season with the Hamilton (now Brantford) Bulldogs.
