ORLANDO, Fla. – The Solar Bears losing streak extended to four games this weekend with two losses on the road to the Greenville Swamp Rabbits. Orlando returns home Friday for the final time, starting three games in three nights in three different cities to end the 2022-23 regular season.

LAST WEEK’S GAMES:Friday, April 7 at Greenville: 3-7 LPaced by a Brett Kemp hat trick, the Greenville Swamp Rabbits skated to a 7-3 victory over the Solar Bears, Friday night. Bennett MacArthur (10), Jimmy Mazza (3) and Eric Esposito (2) scored the goals for the Bears. Alex Frye picked up two assists for his first career multi-point game at the professional level.
Saturday, April 8 at Greenville: 2-5 LThe Solar Bears got out to a 1-0 lead in the first period on a goal from Brayden Guy, but surrendered four goals in the second period. Jimmy Mazza scored his second goal is as many games for the Solar Bears, while Brett Kemp scored twice for the Swamp Rabbits.
BITES:
- Alex Frye earned his first professional multi-point game with two assists on Friday night. The Northern Michigan University product finished the weekend with three points.
- Jimmy Mazza scored goals in back-to-back games for the first time in his ECHL career spanning 159 games.
- Ottoville Leppänen and Jamie Rome made their professional debuts this weekend for the Solar Bears.
