ORLANDO, Fla. — The Orlando Solar Bears have announced defenseman Cole Moberg has been loaned to the Solar Bears from the San Jose Barracuda of the American Hockey League, while forward Timur Ibragimov has been reassigned to Orlando from the Barracuda by the San Jose Sharks.
Moberg, 21, has split the season between Orlando and San Jose, logging three points (1g-2a) in eight games with the Solar Bears, while contributing 10 points (2g-8a) in 29 games with the Barracuda.
Moberg was originally selected by the Chicago Blackhawks in the seventh round (194th overall) in the 2019 NHL Draft. He signed with the Barracuda on Sept. 27, 2021.
Ibragimov (TIH-muhr ee-BRA-gih-mahv), 21, has recorded two points (1g-1a) in 23 games this season with the Barracuda.
The 6-foot-1, 183-pound native of St. Petersburg, Russia was signed by the Sharks to an entry-level contract on May 11, 2020 after he was selected by San Jose in the sixth round (164th overall) in the 2019 NHL Draft.
