DULUTH, Ga. – The Orlando Solar Bears (2-3-0-0) picked up their first road victory of the season with a 4-1 win over the Atlanta Gladiators (2-1-0-0 on Saturday night at Infinite Energy Arena.

After a scoreless first period in which Martin Ouellette made 15 saves for the Solar Bears, Orlando found its offensive stride in the second frame.
Hunter Fejes netted a shorthanded goal just 1:10 into the period to open the scoring for the Solar Bears. The forward pounced on a loose puck in the defensive zone and raced up ice before he backhanded an attempt underneath the blocker of Sean Bonar to give the visitors a 1-0 lead.
Zach Todd made it 2-0 for Orlando at 2:58 with his first of the season as he snapped a shot from the right circle that beat Bonar while Fejes cut across the goaltender’s field of vision.
Vincent Dunn extended the lead for the visitors to three goals at 10:16 with his second of the season.
After Stefan Fournier was assessed a five-minute boarding major at 13:49, the Gladiators capitalized with the man advantage, as Justin MacDonald buried a power-play goal at 16:44.
Fejes tallied his second of the game with a breakaway goal at 14:33.
Ouellette picked up the win with 37 saves on 38 shots against; Bonar received the loss with 20 stops on 24 shots against.
