DULUTH, Ga. – The Orlando Solar Bears have announced that the club has agreed to terms with rookie forward Curtis Miske on an ECHL Standard Player Contract.
Miske (MISS-kee), 21, begins his pro career with the Solar Bears following the completion of his major junior season with the Prince Albert Raiders of the Western Hockey League. Miske served as captain of the Raiders this season, tallying 64 points (27g-37a) and 30 penalty minutes in 72 regular season games. The 6-foot-4, 205-pound forward also generated 10 points (3g-7a) and two penalty minutes in seven postseason games with Prince Albert.
In 259 WHL games with Prince Albert and the Spokane Chiefs, the Beaumont, Alberta native has produced 151 points (64g-87a) and 115 penalty minutes.

The Solar Bears will play the South Carolina Stingrays in the South Division Semifinals of the 2018 Kelly Cup Playoffs, and will host the following games at the ARS.com Rink at Amway Center:
- Game 3 – Thursday, April 19 at 7 p.m
- Game 4 – Saturday, April 21 at 7 p.m.
- Game 5 – Sunday, April 22 at 6 p.m. (if necessary)
