ORLANDO, Fla. – The Orlando Solar Bears have announced that defenseman Nolan Valleau has been released from his Professional Try-Out Agreement with the Rockford IceHogs of the AHL and has been added back to Orlando’s roster.
Valleau, 25, returns to Orlando after appearing in three games with Rockford, recording two penalty minutes. The third-year defenseman has produced 30 points (8g-22a) and 10 penalty minutes in 37 games with the Solar Bears this season. Valleau also skated in seven games with the Chicago Wolves of the AHL.
The playoff race heats up tonight as the Solar Bears take on the South Carolina Stingrays at the ARS.com Rink at Amway Center at 7 p.m. – Orlando sits only five points out from clinching a berth in the 2018 Kelly Cup Playoffs.
