ORLANDO, Fla. – The Orlando Solar Bears have announced that forward Max Novak has been reassigned to the club by the Toronto Marlies, Orlando’s AHL affiliate.
Novak, 26, registered two shots on goal in his lone appearance with Toronto, a 4-1 win at Belleville on Sunday. He returns to the Solar Bears, where he is second in team scoring with 43 points (15g-28a) and 24 penalty minutes in 54 games.
Orlando has also retroactively placed forward Chris Crane on injured reserve, effective Feb. 22.
The Solar Bears hit the road for a three-game road trip and take on the Atlanta Gladiators on Wednesday, March 7 at 7:05 p.m. from Infinite Energy Arena. Orlando returns home to face the Florida Everblades on Thursday, March 15 in a Wawa Sunshine Cup Series game.
