TODAY: The Solar Bears (18-19-5-1) will look to gain their first victory of the weekend against the Atlanta Gladiators (22-21-1-2). The Solar Bears are still seeking their first win against the Gladiators this season after falling short in their previous four meetings.

ZIMMERMAN TO PLAY FIRST OF SEASON AGAINST ATLANTA: After being activated from injured reserve on Dec. 1, defenseman Sean Zimmerman played two games for Orlando before being granted a day off for rest in the Solar Bears’ Dec. 3 meeting with the Gladiators; today’s game will mark the first taste of the Orlando-Atlanta rivalry for Orlando’s captain. Orlando has posted a .563 win percentage with Zimmerman in the lineup this season.
