TODAY:The Orlando Solar Bears look to wrap up their South Division Semifinals matchup with the Florida Everblades, riding on the strength of Saturday night’s 3-0 victory that gave Orlando a 3-1 edge in the series.
DOHERTY TIED WITH MANDERSON:Taylor Doherty’s empty-net goal on Saturday gives him six points (3g-3a) in the playoffs, tying him for the team scoring lead in the current postseason run, and joining Manderson, Bryce Aneloski and Johnny McInnis for the most career playoff points with Orlando in franchise history.
BUZZEO PROVIDING CLUTCH SCORING:Justin Buzzeo’s first-period goal stood up as the game-winner on Saturday, and served as his second game-winning marker of the playoffs, as the mid-season acquisition for Orlando broke a 2-2 tie in the third period of Game 2.
