TONIGHT:The Orlando Solar Bears continue the 2017 Kelly Cup Playoffs, presented by Coors Light, with Game 3 of the South Division Semifinals against the Florida Everblades. Orlando carries a two-game winning streak into tonight’s battle, the first time that Orlando has opened up a Kelly Cup Playoffs series with two straight victories.

MASSA POISED TO OVERTAKE SPARKS:Goalie Ryan Massa has already staked Orlando in both of its wins, and his next playoff victory for the Solar Bears will set both franchise marks for wins by a goaltender in a single postseason and career playoff victories by a goaltender.

MANDERSON STRINGS TOGETHER POINT STREAK:After missing Orlando’s 2015 series against Florida, Denver Manderson’s presence has been noticeable for the Solar Bears, as his empty-net goal in Game 1 gave Orlando some much-needed insurance, and the he dished out two assists in Game 2, including the secondary helper on Justin Buzzeo’s game-winning tally.

BAIER, BUZZEO LEADING SHOT GENERATION:Defenseman Eric Baier and forward Justin Buzzeo lead the way for the Solar Bears in shots on goal with seven. Both found the back of the net in Game 2, with Baier scoring a tie-breaking second period tally for his first of the 2017 playoffs and the third playoff goal of his career, and Buzzeo netting the game-winning score in the third period for his first of the postseason.

FAILLE CONTINUES TO PLAY ROLE OF PLAYMAKER:Eric Faille has picked up right where he left off in the regular season, as Orlando’s leading scorer continues to feed his teammates for chances. After leading Orlando in the regular season with 70 points, Faille has already chipped in an assist in both of the first two games of the playoffs.
