Rodewald Recalled from Solar Bears to Marlies

Rookie Forward Heads from Orlando to AHL Toronto for Third Time

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Orlando Solar Bears, proud affiliate of the NHL’s Toronto Maple Leafs and AHL’s Toronto Marlies, have announced that forward Jack Rodewald has been recalled by the Toronto Marlies.

Rodewald, 21, heads to the Marlies for the third time this season. In 27 games with the Solar Bears, Rodewald has recorded 22 points (5g-17a) and 13 penalty minutes, and has played in five games in his two stints with Toronto, posting four penalty minutes.

The Solar Bears continue their fourth season in the ECHL, presented by Auto Justice Attorney Michael T. Gibson, P.A., when they take on the Wheeling Nailers tonight at 7:35 p.m. from WesBanco Arena. Fans can tune into tonight's game on iHeartSolarBears.com or watch via ECHL.TV.
