Gleason Fournier traded to Everblades
ORLANDO, Fla - The Orlando Solar Bears, proud affiliate of the NHL's Toronto Maple Leafs and AHL's Toronto Marlies, announced today that they have acquired F John McInnis from the Florida Everblades in exchange for D Gleason Fournier.
McInnis (6-2, 203 lbs.) has scored eight goals and added 16 assists for 24 points in 28 games as a member of the Florida Everblades this season and registered his first professional point with an assist against the Solar Bears on October 31. The rookie forward made his professional debut at the end of the 2013-14 season, skating in two games for the Lake Erie Monsters (AHL).
A native of Boston, MA, McInnis previously played four seasons (2010-14) for the Minnesota State University - Mankato Mavericks, where he posted 79 points (43 goals, 36 assists) in 133 games. McInnis led the Mavericks with 21 goals during his senior season (2013-14) while finishing third on the team with 38 points.
Fournier had 14 points (4 goals, 10 assists) in 26 games for the Solar Bears.
