Solar Bears named finalists for four ECHL awards

Team named finalists for Ticket and Marketing Departments of the Year

ORLANDO, Fla. - The Orlando Solar Bears, proud affiliate of the NHL's Minnesota Wild and Toronto Maple Leafs and AHL's Iowa Wild and Toronto Marlies, announced today that the team was a finalist for Ticket Department of the Year and Marketing Department of the Year, President/CEO Jason Siegel was a finalist for Executive of the Year, and Director of Public Relations and Broadcasting Bob Mills was a finalist for Broadcaster of the Year.

This marks the second straight season that Siegel finished as finalist for Executive of the Year and the second straight season that Mills has finished as a finalist for Broadcaster of the Year after winning the award following the 2011-12 season. The Solar Bears were recipients of the ECHL Award of Excellence last season. The Solar Bears were finalists for Ticket Department of the Year last season as well.
