Rookie forward returns to AHL affiliate
ORLANDO, Fla. - The Orlando Solar Bears, proud affiliate of the NHL's Minnesota Wild and Toronto Maple Leafs and AHL's Iowa Wild and Toronto Marlies, announced today that F Taylor Matson has been recalled by the Iowa Wild.
Matson heads back to Iowa after posting 31 points on 13 goals and 18 assists in 24 games with the Solar Bears this season. He was named the Sher-Wood Hockey ECHL Player of the Week on Tuesday after scoring three goals and adding four assists in three games last week. The native of Mound, MN, has scored five points (3 goals, 2 assists) in 30 games for Iowa.
