JOHN CURRY RECALLED TO IOWA WILD

Goaltender Heads Back to AHL Affiliate

Orlando, FL - The Orlando Solar Bears, proud affiliate of the NHL's Minnesota Wild and Toronto Maple Leafs and AHL's Iowa Wild and Toronto Marlies, announced today that G John Curry has been recalled to the Iowa Wild. Curry returned to the Solar Bears last week and turned in a 29 save performance to help Orlando defeat the Florida Everblades on Monday. He has played in 13 games for the Solar Bears this season,  collected a 2.66 GAA, .917 save percentage, and 10-2-0  record. He was named the ECHL Goaltender of the Week for November 4-10 when he posted a 2-0-0 record, 2.00 GAA, and .943 save percentage. In his Solar Bears career, Curry has compiled a 27-13-2 record with a 2.76 GAA and .912 save percentage. He has won each of his last four starts for the Solar Bears dating back to December 8.
