COLTON JOBKE ASSIGNED TO ORLANDODefenseman Returns to the Solar BearsOrlando, FL - The Orlando Solar Bears, proud affiliate of the NHL's Minnesota Wild and Toronto Maple Leafs and AHL's Iowa Wild and Toronto Marlies, announced today that D Colton Jobke has been reassigned to the team from their AHL affiliate, the Iowa Wild. Jobke played in seven games with the Wild since being recalled on December 30, earning two PIM along with a +1 rating. The Tsawwassen, BC, native has skated in 25 games for the Solar Bears this year, scoring two goals to go along with three assists for five points. Jobke scored his first professional goal this season against the Evansville IceMen on November 15. The Solar Bears return from a four game road trip to host the Gwinnett Gladiators on Thursday, January 23rd, at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, January 26, against the Florida Everblades at 3:00 p.m. Orlando will wear special pink jerseys for both games as part of Hockey Fights Cancer, and the first 3,000 fans in attendance will receive a commemorative puck, courtesy of Florida Hospital, on Sunday.
