Coached Orlando to 28-37-3-4 record
ORLANDO, Fla. - The Orlando Solar Bears have announced today that Head Coach Drake Berehowsky will not return to the Orlando Solar Bears for the 2013-14 ECHL season.
Berehowsky was hired by the Solar Bears on June 27th, 2012, and coached the team to a 28-37-3-4 record in Orlando's first season in the ECHL.
"Drake put a good foundation in place," said Bob Ohrablo, COO and Managing Partner of the Solar Bears. "He is both a teacher and student of the game. We wish him and his family success."
The Solar Bears have begun a search for a new Head Coach.
The Orlando Solar Bears, the ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Minnesota Wild and AHL's Iowa Wild, play all of their home games at the 2012 Street and Smith's Sports Business JournalSports Facility of the Year, the Amway Center.
