Josh Caron Returns to AHL Affiliate
Orlando, FL - The Orlando Solar Bears announced today that DJosh Caron has been recalled to their American Hockey League(AHL) affiliate, the Houston Aeros, by their NHL affiliate theMinnesota Wild.Caron has appeared in the last four games for the Solar Bears,helping the team to a 3-1-0-0 record over that stretch whilepicking up nine penalty minutes. Caron dropped the gloveslast night in the first period against Toledo F Stephon Thornefor his first fighting major with Orlando since November 11against Gwinnett. The Campbell River, BC, native has played 20games for the Solar Bears this season, scoring one goal andadding one assist to go along with 39 penalty minutes (PIM). Atthe AHL level, Caron has played 10 games with Houston thisyear, picking up seven PIM.
