ORLANDO, Fla. – The Orlando Solar Bears announced today that they have agreed to terms with left wing Jordan Lane and defenseman Ben Woodley.
Over the last two seasons Lane (6'8", 250lbs) has played in both the ECHL and the Central Hockey League. The Whitehorse, Yukon Territory native tallied 132 penalty minutes in 61 games while playing for the Evansville Icemen (CHL) during the 2010-11 season. In 2011-12, Lane played in 34 games with the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL.
Woodley (6'6", 230lbs) comes to the Solar Bears after a successful season in the British Columbia Hockey League. The 20 year old from London, Ontario recorded 47 points in 59 games and accumulated 125 penalty minutes with the Prince George Spruce Kings.

The Orlando Solar Bears, the ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Minnesota Wild and AHL's Houston Aeros, are coming Out of Hibernation and will play 36 regular season home games at the 2012 Street and Smith's Sports Business Journal Sports Facility of the Year, the Amway Center, beginning October 20, 2012.
