Dr. Louis Arsenio Gerena
Rothman Orthopedics at AdventHealth
Louis Arsenio Gerena, MD, CAQSM, FAAFP, is a board-certified family medicine physician with fellowship training in primary care sports medicine and more than five years of experience providing orthopedic and sports medicine care. He completed a fellowship in primary care sports medicine at the American Sports Medicine Institute and Andrews Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Center in Birmingham, Alabama, and completed residency training in family medicine at the Trident/MUSC Family Medicine Residency Program in Charleston, South Carolina. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Florida State University College of Medicine in Tallahassee, Florida. Most recently, Dr. Gerena served as a non-surgical sports medicine physician at Holzer Health Systems and as a sports medicine faculty member at Marshall University. His experience includes caring for athletes at all levels, including collegiate and professional teams, and providing non-operative orthopedic care and injury management.
Dr. Tunc Kiymaz

Dr. Kiymaz is a board-certified, fellowship-trained physician specializing in Sports Medicine and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. He is passionate about providing patient-centered, personalized care that takes into account each patient's unique circumstances to maximize function and quality of life. His areas of expertise include the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions in athletes and non-athletes alike. He has advanced musculoskeletal ultrasound training and offers non-operative treatment options, including ultrasound-guided procedures such as corticosteroid, hyaluronic acid viscosupplementation, and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections. He also performs electrodiagnostic (EMG) testing to aid in the diagnosis of various neuromusculoskeletal conditions.
Madison Dininny, MAT, LAT, ATC
Head Athletic Trainer
- Madison Dininny, a Cocoa Beach, FL native, is entering her first season with the Solar Bears. She joins with experience in junior hockey where she served as the Head Athletic Trainer for the Dubuque Fighting Saints in the USHL for the 2024-2025 season, and for two seasons before that, she was the Head Athletic Trainer for the North Iowa Bulls and Mason City Toros in the NAHL and NA3HL. Before her first full-time hockey job, Dininny studied at the University of South Florida where she received a Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences and the University of Central Florida, where she received a Master's Degree in Athletic Training. As a graduate student at UCF, Dininny interned with the Solar Bears.
Kristin Triassi - Athletic Care Coordinator
- Kristin Triassi is a Certified Athletic Trainer who joined AdventHealth in 2019 as a Care Advocate for the Orlando Solar Bears. Kristin graduated with honors from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology. Kristin then went on to the University of Arkansas where she earned a Master of Athletic Training degree. Kristin's previous stops include the University of Nevada, Reno, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and Tulane University.
Dr. Kirk Solberg, DMD - Official Team Dentist of the Orlando Solar Bears
Dr. Solberg graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1992 from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in Gainesville, Florida. While attending, he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honorary dental society, earned multiple leadership awards, served as class president for 3 years, and was presented with the American College of Dentists Award for outstanding ethics and professionalism.
After graduating in 1984 from the first class at the new Lake Mary High School in Lake Mary, FL, Dr. Solberg received his B.A. Cum Laude degree from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN with a double major in Chemistry and Norwegian language. While there he strengthened his love of hockey as a member of the student section Blue Line Club.
Dr. Solberg is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Dental Society of Greater Orlando, International College of Oral Implantologists, and a past president of the University of Florida College of Dentistry Alumni Association. He has served as Assistant Scout Master and Chaplain for his son’s Boy Scout troop, a board member for Seminole County Young Life, a board member and camp chef for Central Care Mission, and is currently an elder at Northland Church in Longwood, FL.
Completing his first year as the team dentist for the Orlando Solar Bears 2023-24 hockey season re-ignited his love for the game, but his favorite aspect of his role was getting to know the players, coaches, and staff.
Dr. Aaron Isler - Official Endodontist of the Orlando Solar Bears
Orlando Endodontic Specialists
Dr. Aaron Isler attended Michigan State University and the University of Michigan , School of Dentistry where he received his DDS degree. He then attended the University of Florida , School of Dentistry where he received his Endodontic certification and a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Oral Biology. He also completed an Endodontic fellowship at the University of Florida.
Dr. Isler has done extensive research on rotary files and the effects of endodontic irrigants on microbial growth. Dr. Isler had his research published in two articles in the Journal of Endodontics. Adjunct clinical professor at the University of Florida School of Dentistry, Department of Endodontics.
Dr. Timothy Temple - Official Endodontist of the Orlando Solar Bears

- Graduated from Allegheny College, Bachelor of Science degree in Biology
- Graduated University of Pittsburg School of Dental Medicine, D.M.D. Degree
- Served as a general dentist in the U.S. Navy Dental Corps
- Attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine for endodontic specialty
training
Dr. Temple has practiced endodontics with Orlando Endodontic Specialists for the past 11 years. Dr. Temple is a leader in the use of lasers in endodontics and lectures internationally on numerous topics in the endodontic field. He is also the Vice President of the Florida Association of Endodontists as well as being the President of the Dental Society of Greater Orlando.
Dr. Temple has another great accomplishment which is being published in the Journal of Endodontics.
Scott A. Wenk - DDS, MD
Dr. Wenk is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He received his BS degree from the University of Richmond, his DDS degree from the Medical College of Virginia, an MD degree from the University of Florida and he completed his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Florida. Dr. Wenk also completed a general surgery internship at the University of Florida. He is a member of the American Medical Association and the Florida Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is also a Fellow in the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology and a Diplomate of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. In addition, Dr. Wenk serves as a consultant to the Children’s Medical Services Cleft Palate Clinic.
