Dr. Richard Margaitis - Official Team Physician of the Orlando Solar Bears

Dr. Richard Margaitis, DO is board certified in family medicine, neuromuscular medicine and primary care sports medicine. He graduated from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed a four-year integrated family medicine and neuromuscular medicine internship and residency at Florida Hospital East Orlando. He next completed a one-year sports medicine fellowship at East Carolina University’s Pitt County Memorial Hospital/Brody School of Medicine in Greenville, N.C. An avid athlete who has competed on multiple sports teams through the years, Dr. Margaitis was naturally drawn to the field of primary care sports medicine. He has substantial experience in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of musculoskeletal injuries and illness through his past work with the athletic teams at East Carolina University and his service as team physician to athletes at William Carey University in Hattiesburg, Miss. while teaching osteopathic manipulative medicine at the college’s medical school. He also frequently volunteers his medical services to area high schools for pre-participation sports physicals and various tournaments and competitions.
Along with his expertise in the broad areas of family medicine, neuromuscular medicine and primary care sports medicine, Dr. Margaitis has advanced skills in employing musculoskeletal ultrasound for diagnosis and injection procedures including platelet rich plasma and prolotherapy to treat chronic and acute sports injuries. He is also trained in providing craniosacral therapy to address a variety of medical complaints including migraines, temporomandibular joint problems and coccydynia. He is a published medical researcher, presenter and lecturer and an active member of numerous respected medical associations, including the American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Physicians, American Academy of Osteopathy and American Medical Society of Sports Medicine.

Dr. Browning graduated cum laude with his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He completed his osteopathic medicine residency at Florida Hospital East Orlando.
Dr. Browning is board certified in both family medicine and neuromusculoskeletal medicine. He has a special interest in sports medicine rehab, osteopathic manipulative medicine, prolotherapy and pain management.
Dr. Matthew D. Hurbanis - Official Team Physician & Orthopedic Surgeon of the Orlando Solar Bears

Dr. Hurbanis practices general orthopaedic surgery and specializes in Sports Medicine, arthroscopy, and shoulder and knee surgery.
Dr. Hurbanis attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. He played football for the Florida Gators on an athletic scholarship under Coach Steve Spurrier. He obtained his Bachelor of Science with high honors. Dr. Hurbanis received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, Florida.
He completed his internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery at Orlando Regional Medical Center. He was Chief Orthopaedic Resident. He obtained his Fellowship training in arthroscopy and Sports Medicine from The Bone and Joint Institute and The University of Cincinnati of Cincinnati, Ohio. He was an associate physician for the Cincinnati Bengals and University of Cincinnati Bearcats.
Dr. Hurbanis is a member of American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy Association of North American, and American Medical Association. Served as Chief of Surgery from 2008 to 2009 at Health Central Hospital. Served as Chief of Surgery-Elect at Health Central Hospital from 2007-2008.
Dr. Hurbanis is a team physician for the Orlando Solar Bears, The First Academy, West Orange High School and Wekiva High School.
Dr. Hurbanis is married with three children and enjoys exercise, football, fishing, and water sports.
Dr. Randall T. Rust - Official Team Physician & Orthopedic Surgeon of the Orlando Solar Bears

Dr. Rust practices general orthopaedic surgery and specializes in Sports Medicine, arthroscopy, and shoulder and knee surgery.
Dr. Rust obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Ohio University where he graduated summa cum laude. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Medical College of Ohio in Toledo, Ohio. He completed his internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery at Orlando Regional Medical Center. He completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine in Cincinnati, OH.
Dr. Rust is board-certified with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. Rust was Best Teaching Resident in 2008 and Resident of the Year in 2010. He is the Team Physician for The Orlando Solar Bears, Dr. Phillip’s High School, and was the Assistant Team Physician for the Cincinnati Bengals, and University of Cincinnati Bearcats. He played collegiate water polo at Ohio University.
Dr. Rust is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Medical Association, Florida Medical Association, Orange County Medical Society, and Arthroscopy Association of North America, and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine.
Dr. Rust is married with two children. He enjoys time with the family, sports and golfing.
Dr. Kenneth E. Pyle - Official Team Dentist of the Orlando Solar Bears

Dr Pyle is well known leader of the Dental Community and recognized as a leader in patient care and innovation. He pioneered the use of the Intra-Oral Camera in 1976; Digital Radiography in 1995; Cerec Cad/Cam in 1999 and InVisalign in 2003. He is currently one of the most experienced InVisalign providers in the country and is a sought after lecturer for InVisalign. He is highly talented at the art of Cosmetic Dentistry and has brought many people enviable smiles.

Dr. Aaron Isler - Official Endodontist of the Orlando Solar Bears

Dr. Aaron Isler attended Michigan State University and the University of Michigan , School of Dentistry where he received his DDS degree. He then attended the University of Florida , School of Dentistry where he received his Endodontic certification and a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Oral Biology. He also completed an Endodontic fellowship at the University of Florida.
Dr. Isler has done extensive research on rotary files and the effects of endodontic irrigants on microbial growth. Dr. Isler had his research published in two articles in the Journal of Endodontics. Adjunct clinical professor at the University of Florida School of Dentistry, Department of Endodontics.

Dr. Temple has practiced endodontics with Orlando Endodontic Specialists for the past 11 years. Dr. Temple is a leader in the use of lasers in endodontics and lectures internationally on numerous topics in the endodontic field. He is also the Vice President of the Florida Association of Endodontists as well as being the President of the Dental Society of Greater Orlando.
Dr. Temple has another great accomplishment which is being published in the Journal of Endodontics.

Graduated from West Orange High School Graduated from University of South Florida, Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology Studied at Cleveland Chiropractic College of Los Angeles Private Practice since 1999 Member of the American Chiropractic Association, the Florida Chiropractic Association and the Central Florida Chiropractic Society.
Dr. Brockman has extensive experience treating professional athletes, including; water skiers, wake boarders, motocross, NFL, Olympic track, tri-athletes and hockey players. His experience treating such a diverse group of athletes has allowed him to identify and treat biomechanical dysfunction in the spine and extremities. He applies the knowledge gained from these experiences to all of his patients.
Dr. Brockman and his wife, Mary Beth, have four children. His office is South Lake Wellness & Injury Center located in Clermont, FL.
Frankie M. Gomez - DMD, MD
Dr Gomez is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr Gomez received his BS degree from the University of Miami, his DMD from the University Of Florida College Of Dentistry, and an MD degree from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Louisiana State University College of Dentistry, as well as a surgical internship at the Medical Center of New Orleans. Dr. Gomez was a recipient of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Community and Service Leadership Award for Residents for Hurricane Katrina Efforts.
Scott A. Wenk - DDS, MD
Dr. Wenk is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He received his BS degree from the University of Richmond, his DDS degree from the Medical College of Virginia, an MD degree from the University of Florida and he completed his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Florida. Dr. Wenk also completed a general surgery internship at the University of Florida. He is a member of the American Medical Association and the Florida Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is also a Fellow in the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology and a Diplomate of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. In addition, Dr. Wenk serves as a consultant to the Children’s Medical Services Cleft Palate Clinic.
