TONIGHT: The Orlando Solar Bears (24-18-3-0) complete the week’s three-game set against the Jacksonville Icemen (24-21-1-2). Orlando owns a 6-2-0-0 record against Jacksonville this season. The Solar Bears have won their last three games against the Icemen dating back to Dec. 29. A victory tonight would allow Orlando to move up into third place in the South Division and just one point behind second-place South Carolina (54 points).

MONFREDO ENJOYING OFFENSIVE STRETCH: Defenseman Mike Monfredo’s assist in Friday’s win pushed the veteran blueliner’s point streak to four games (1g-4a), the longest such stretch during his five years in the ECHL. Monfredo is only four points away from matching his total of 23 from last season, and only three goals away from matching his single-season career-high of eight.

DONAGHEY BACK FROM SUSPENSION: The Solar Bears blue line will receive a welcome boost tonight with the return of Cody Donaghey. The defenseman is fresh off a five-game suspension, and leads the team’s defensive corps in scoring with 25 points (9g-16a) and is tied with Mitch Hults for the team lead in power-play goals with four.

OUELLETTE GETS THE START AGAIN: Goalie Martin Ouellette will make his sixth consecutive start for Orlando since returning from the American Hockey League in late January. In his previous five outings, Ouellette has gone 4-1-0 with a 2.15 goals-against average and a .933 save percentage.

NEXT GAMES: The Solar Bears remain on the road but stay in the Sunshine State when they face the Florida Everblades on Wednesday, Feb. 13 at 7:30 p.m. at Hertz Arena.
