Solar Bears to host Military Appreciation Night on Jan. 20

The Orlando Solar Bears will host their annual Military Appreciation Night game, presented by Hunter Vision on Saturday, Jan. 20.

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Orlando Solar Bears invite their fans and supporters of the United States Armed Forces to come together when the team hosts its annual Military Appreciation Night, presented by Hunter Vision on Saturday, Jan. 20 as Orlando battles the Florida Everblades at the Rink at Amway Center at 7 p.m.

The Solar Bears will wear a special military-themed jersey during their game against the Everblades, featuring the seals of all branches of the U.S. military (Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard). The jerseys will be auctioned throughout the game on the Amway Center concourse and will be presented to the winning bidders following the conclusion of the game.

The military branch which has the most tickets sold via their branch-specific link will receive the 2018-19 Military Appreciation Jersey with their respective branch on the back.

The game will also be the second of three televised 2017-18 regular season games to air live on WRBW-TV My65 Orlando. The game will also serve as the seventh of 14 total Wawa Sunshine Cup Series matches between Orlando and Florida.
