ESTERO, Fla. – The Orlando Solar Bears will play the first Game 7 in their history in the Kelly Cup Playoffs after falling to the Florida Everblades by a 6-4 score on Tuesday night at Germain Arena, evening the South Division Semifinals at 3-3. Game 7 will be played Wednesday, April 26 at 7:30 p.m. at Germain Arena.

  • Denver Manderson buried his team-leading fourth of the postseason with a power-play goal at 13:34 of the first period, as he snapped a low shot from the right circle that beat Anthony Peters inside the left post.
  • Milos Bubela tallied his first of the playoffs at 1:33 of the third period to make it 5-2. Manderson and Shane Conacher earned assists on the goal.
  • After Brant Harris tallied an empty-net goal at 17:13 to put the Everblades ahead 6-2, Orlando received goals from Daniel Maggio at 17:53 and Joe Perry at 19:31. Maggio drove in a shot from the top of the left circle, while Perry redirected Chris Bradley’s shot from the blueline past Peters; Chris Crane assisted on both goals.

  • The Solar Bears will look to advance against the Everblades on Wednesday in their first-ever Game 7 appearance in the Kelly Cup Playoffs. This will be the 40th Game 7 in ECHL postseason history.
